A wonderful time, I am so glad I stayed in this area for 8 months.. Wowwwww!! hard to believe. Just goes to show how much wildlife there is here, Since I started this hobby I have learned one thing. You need to stay in an area and get to know it well, before you start to photograph seriously. Watching trip reports and read as much as you can on the habits of the birds in the area. And get to know the park staff well. The better you know them and talk to them the better your birding day will be.
That said, I am packed up and am heading north tomorrow morning. My first hop will be to ( issan ) Nam nao, Phu khieo. Just a short hop there, then on to the slow move north. Mae Wong, Huay Kha Khaeng.
Eventually renting an apartment in Fang Thailand. From there I will bird some and explore the north.
Back to Thailand and pics of a few Beautiful Pittas here. The Pittas are showing in the park now. And have been for the last month or so. Beautiful to see and photograph.
When they start feeding there young it makes photography much easier. They are after food for there young and will come in for offerings of meal worms.
I shot two different Pittas yesterday
Blue Pitta, female. She had chicks and was coming in for the worms.
